IN THIS LESSON

Simply put, we only accomplish our mission with the help of dedicated volunteers!

Volunteers are the driving force behind Habitat for Humanity of Delaware & Union Counties.

They help select qualified individuals and families for our homeownership program, guide them through the Habitat process, and help build their affordable homes alongside them.

Volunteers help operate and promote our ReStore daily, and also help run our special events.

Volunteering on Construction Sites

  • Volunteers must be 16 or older

  • Build days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays

    • Sign up on the Volunteer Hub

  • Construction Manager will always be present

    • Must wear solid shoes (no flip flops or sandals)

    • Always check email prior to leaving for jobsite

  • Walls Builds: All are welcome regardless of age

Volunteering at Our ReStore

  • Volunteers must be 14 or older

  • Hours of Operation:

    • Monday-Saturday: 10AM-6PM

    • Sunday: 11AM-5PM

  • Cashiers, cleaners, organizers, unloaders, etc

  • Contact Linda Warren to schedule a shift
